Mrs. David Woodcook, who has been suffering with cancer for a long time, died at her home in Northside on Friday morning. Funeral services were held at the home on Saturday afternoon in charge of Rev. J.T. Boyer. Burial at Union Cemetery. Mrs. Woodcook, whose maiden name was Amanda Barnett was born in Southern Missouri 71 years ago. After her marriage she lived principally in Illinois, but her fmaily moved here from Oklahoma, living first at Montezuma. She is survived by the husband and three children: George, Mrs. Laura Seits, Walter of Eaton, Washington. Two children are dead, May and Gus. She was a faithful member of the Christian Church. - kbz
